Dean and Kali had built a successful life, raising two children and living on the Gold Coast in Australia. Their careers were well-established - Dean had spent a decade in the army and built years of experience in security and risk management, while Kali had a background in mental health practices. They had moved between countries several times, adapting to new cultures and challenges along the way. Despite a comfortable life and professional success, both felt a sense of unfulfillment, knowing that they were capable of doing more to contribute to a greater cause.

Their path shifted when they attended a talk on child trafficking and exploitation. The severity of the issue left a lasting impression, and they quickly recognized the urgency of taking action. With their combined expertise in security, crisis management, and mental health, they knew they had the skills to make a difference.

Recognizing the scale of the issue, they moved quickly and were given the opportunity to partner with a non-profit organization already focused on combating human trafficking. Together, they began building anti-trafficking operations across Africa and the Middle East.

In just three years, they successfully built five operational teams and recruited 27 professionals, all dedicated to rescuing children from trafficking and providing vital support for their recovery. Their ability to establish these teams across multiple continents, so quickly, was a testament to their expertise and unwavering commitment to the cause.
